Getting Into A Groove
I think it is safe to say we are finally getting into a routine and getting adjusted to life (back) on the east coast. The boys have adapted much easier than we expected. They love being near their Grammy and Granddad, Uncle Michael/Aunt Erin, and of course "Baby" Riley (who is definitely not a baby anymore).
We took the boys to an Easter egg hunt on Easter weekend. They loved it! I am pretty sure they got more candy there than they did when they went trick-or-treating. It was a wonderfully warm North Carolina day with temps in the 70's. I definitely don't mind those days at all. Austin just started soccer practice about a week ago. This is his first try at organized sports so it could be interesting. We let him choose between t-ball and soccer and he chose soccer. He said "I want to score and win." His coach seems nice (and patient) so hopefully it will be a fun time for Austin.
