Preliminary Hearing Take Three
It seems like the judge in our region has decided to postpone our preliminary hearing until early next week. How thoughtful of him or her. We are really struggling with this and it just seems like we face obstacles at every turn. Ugg! Please pray for us... We really need it.
1. That the preliminary hearing would take place on Monday
2. That we would have a court date one week from when the hearing takes place
3. That we would not loose hope

What part of Russia are you adopting from? My church does ministry in Sosnovi Bor, outside of St. Petersburgh. We have a sister church over there and we are actually making a trip in Novomber. Thank You for your posts. I will keep you lifted up in prayer.
We are adopting from Volgograd. Thanks for the note!

Hi Beth and John,
It is so very exciting to read your blog. I am in awe of the spiritual support that surrounds you. How blessed you are to have each other in Christ as well as family and friends who physically and prayerfully support you. Does it get any better?
We had to wait 3 years and 15 days for Karson so I know what it is to wait. Once I gave up trying to control the situation, I had Karson in my arms within a month. I know when I finally did get the call, I wanted to leave right that minute rather than in a few days. I felt as though I could have walked to Kansas to get my baby! I think I trusted God but thought He wasn't going fast enough. I had to learn that I could not control the process. Although I don't know why the wait is long and you probably never will, I am sure that God has a good reason. Enjoy your time together. In retrospect, it will have flown by.
I did see the pics of the rooms. They are very attractive. Love the names of the colors! Grandma's sweater!!!
Love and prayers,
Pat K
